So I went on a second date with a guy I met on Tinder. We went out to eat to a really nice popular fancy restaurant where we had a good time. At the restaurant he told me he plays guitar and piano and he asked me if I wanted him to show me. So we went back to his place, and he played some music for me. When he finished up he asked me what I would do if I went to a guy’s house and saw he had a bong. I said I’d say “see ya never again”. And he told me “Oh I have one in the kitchen” I got up and saw it. He told me he smokes weed from time to time and that his parents smoke it too. This is a deal breaker for me, bc I’ve always made sure to stay away from this stuff, and I don’t want to associate with someone who does it too. No judgement, I just don’t want that in a partner. Anyway he asked me if it was a deal breaker and I said yes. And he’s like that’s okay. And we continued talking, it was very awkward, but we tried to work thru the awkwardness. He drove me home and I said I hope you have a nice week. Anyway he ended up texting me the next day asking me if I’m free Wednesday for him to cook me some dinner. I’m so confused! Lol, I told him the bong was a deal breaker. What do I do? What should I reply?
