Wait or try?!

We get married in 25 days... We have talked about it and we are as prepared for family planning as we will ever be. I turn 33 this Saturday and I'm struggling between waiting and enjoying marriage for a while before we start trying and trying just in case we have difficulties.

Marriage is a tough thing to adjust to. The first 2 years are the hardest. I would give it at least a year to get adjusted to married life before adjusting to babies.

Go for it if it feels right. It could take longer than you expect and you never know what life will throw your way. We got married last Nov after my partner of 6 years finished chemo for testicular cancer. We have been "not preventing" since April with the knowledge that he may not regain full sperm counts and motility for 2 years. I am tracking my cycle but not actively testing -- if it happens it happens. Mostly just trying to enjoy our time with each other since it could have been cut short.

Ttc definitely hasn’t been easy. It’s weeks and weeks of waiting. Waiting to ovulate, waiting to test, waiting to start another round of pills, waiting for a bfp, waiting for af. We’ve been trying for almost 2 years and I’ll be 31 in November. I’m glad we started when we did. We didn’t know how long it would take. We’re still trying...

I'm also 34, was 33 when we got married and wanted to pretty much start trying right away. Husband absolutely did not want to have a baby while we were in an apartment. We bought a house in January, lived with my in laws until the house closed in May, then started trying a month later. I still wish we had started a bit sooner because it took a couple cycles to regulate. I'm currently in my ttc and it's feeling like the longest two weeks yet. Ps my husband is younger (30)

I got off the pill the month before my wedding in march. I turn 34 in November I'm Currently on my 9th cycle ttc baby #1.... if it wasn't for my age and the fact that we want 2 maybe 3 kids I'm Not sure we would have started trying right away. But here I am still waiting for a positive test
