Saw something I wasn’t supposed to...

Okay, my boyfriend and I have been together for three years. We’ve always known we would be married one day. People in our town are constantly asking us “when are y’all getting married?”, “You haven’t gotten hitched yet?” etc. etc. he has been gone for 3 months now because he’s working out of state. We miss each other terribly. He comes home in about a month but he’s only able to stay for a week because he has to head back for another 4-6 months to finish the job. Two nights ago he told me he had a surprise for me when he got home. ( Immediately I assumed a proposal was in the works). Well, tonight, I was with my cousin at a basketball game, when she blurted out, “ Dustin (my boyfriend) just sent me a picture.” Of course, I turned my head to see what it was and caught a glimpse of a ring and almost fell down the bleachers. She and I just looked at each other in awe. I didnt really catch details or anything, just saw enough to know it was a ring. Now I’m so anxious and excited that my assumption is gonna be a reality sometime soon... maybe I’ll update when he comes home if it really does happen 🙃💕
