41 days postpartum, stitches haven't dissolved?

Question

So, I got 3 stitches after I had my daughter and I'm about 41 days postpartum and they're all still there? They weren't major tears, and no major trauma after just 35 minutes of pushing, just 2 small little rips. Is this normal? I've continued taking extra care of them since day one and they haven't changed yet. 😐🤔

I would talk to your doctor.. mine were gone pretty quickly and I had a 4th degree tear. From 2 hours of pushing, suction and cutting. 
So I would definitely talk with your OB.

It took 7-8 weeks for all of mine to dissolve, so a little longer than where you’re at now. My OB said it was normal for some people to take that long.
