OPK negative results

This is my first month using clear blue opks. My period last month was a bit irregular I wondered if it was because it was the first month of trying and I was causing AF to be late. I have downloaded 3 different apps and all tell me I am ovulating at around the same time but peaks at different days. I keep getting negative no LH surge results from clear blue opk. I am wondering if I have ovulated really early or it is still to come..i will need to but another opk kit! I have ordered a bbt kit for next month if I have not got it right this month. It's very frustrating!! has anyone else experienced this??
