wrong of me go get induced??

Question

I am wanting to get induced 3 days before my due date due to school so i can have her and be out and give me a day or two before my classes... I am in a bachelor's program that is all day Friday and Saturdays classes.. and if I miss a weekend I miss 1/3rd of my grade. which I really don't wanna miss. my SO says it's stupid of me to get induced, what do you guys think?

I was induced. By choice. With my first so that I could have time with my husband and baby. He could only get off so many days. So we planned around a weekend. 
Will school not understand I’m the case of a baby and let you make up work? Seems like a special circumstance to me. Cause honestly I wouldn’t be up to going to class just a few days after baby is born. 
When my first was born I hadn’t even considered my recovery, so it came as a shock to me when I felt terrible for the first almost week. And sore and weak for another week or so. So be prepared that you may not be up to going to class even if you have baby before.
