Shots Today :/

Last time my LO had her shots, she had a terrible fever for 2 days afterwards. When it got really high I gave her some Tylenol, but she threw up the Tylenol both times I tried to give it to her. She is 6 months now so I have pre-prepared some applesauce to mix it with, but I'm worried she won't eat it. Has anyone tried taking the Tylenol themselves and then breastfeeding, I am wondering if enough would pass through my milk to help her? Does anyone have any other tips to help baby after getting shots or fever? (Disclaimer: I'm not looking for arguments for or against vaccines, I've already decided that I am pro-vax - just looking for ways to help us get through it this time in case she has a bad fever again.)
