and just so folks know:
There's a so called "equivalent" to Eagle Scout on the Girl Scout side that doesn't carry the same weight for recognition and college scholarships and the way to get the achievement is different (some say easier) for the girls.
This change means that girls who want to try to be an Eagle Scout can.
When I was a kid I wanted nothing more than to be an Eagle Scout but was told I couldn't because I'm a girl.
What are your thoughts?
