IVF beginning stages

Posting or even opening this app has been so painful for the past month.

We started seeing a Fertility doctor in September after 11 months of TTC with no luck.

We were doing everything we could

-OPKs daily

- timing LH Surge perfectly

- Baby dancing regularly and consistently around LH Surge

- Ava Fertility Bracelet

- PreMamma fertility supplement

-PregPrep complete conception kit (male♀) and Female

- using apps religiously

-basil body temp

- we're both young and in prime fertile years (I am 25 and my husband is 29)

And for 11 months nothing worked. When we started seeing our doctors at HFI I felt more hopeful than I have in a long time that we were finally going in a progressive direction.

After a hysteroscopy d&c;, blood work, semen analysis, and about a month of monitoring we found out we have Male Factor infertility. Our only likely option of conceiving being IVF.

I was just glad to finally feel we had a light at the end of the tunnel of what it would take to become parents. I'll do anything at this point.

Then the financial counselor called and I'm filled with emotions.

I'm so in shock that In total IVF will cost us $21,000 and we have to have it paid before we begin, which I was hoping to be next month.

Praying the first time is successful, we somehow come up with the money, and that this all works out without a hitch. I know God has a plan for everything, but this high of an expense to just GET pregnant was not what me or my SO were prepared for.
