Ovulation kits?

Ok so I posted a picture and it clearly states important: do not open pouch until day 5 of your period or spotting!

My question is tho if it is opened before day 5 are the tests then gone bad? Someone told me I could take these tests whenever I thought maybe I might be ovulating.

I’m ebf still but recently had a period and I counted 14 days and checked and the tests came back no! Checked a couple days prior to the 14 mark and after and still no but the package has been opened while sooooo I’m wondering are the tests gone bad :(

Anyone offer advice maybe? Thanks in advance 😀
