what a smile can bring

when my son was born in July he was born happy and smiling and would move to sound and follow you, three weeks in he stopped smiling, stopped responding looked like an empty body in his eyes. he also started having his arm and leg shake and just zone out all the time. I brought it up to my doctor we got sent to Neuro and they did an EEG and discovered he the starts to seziures, they didn't catch a seizure as he slept threw the EEG he was put on anti seizure meds 2 weeks being on meds his eyes started to light up again and look at you then he SMILED!! a smile for a parent is always amazing but when your child smiles for the first time after having troubles it means so much more. he has alot more testing coming up but he is doing amazing on his med. I just wanted to say never take a smile or a coo for granted :D
