flu shot during first trimester?

recent study found correlation between flu shot and increased miscarriage, see link below. if I'm not mistaken the link between the vaccine and miscarriage in early oregnancy is based on receiving repeat vaccines yearly. And it's important to note that this study is very weak and only hints at a possible link.

I've had my flu shot last week but I deliberately waited until my 2nd trimester.  I'm currently 18 weeks. I asked to checked the ingredients and read the accompanying leaflet thoroughly first much to the annoyance of the impatient nurse but my baby is just too precious.

I wouldn't risk it, especially as it's never been tested on pregnant women (says so in the insert). If you really want it you can always wait til later but I personally don't get shots in pregnancy as it's not been well tested and I know several people who miscarried after their shot.
