Has anyone been sent straight to L&D after an appt?

Just curious! If so, what was the reason?

Yup I'm in labor and delivery right now actually. Went to my 36 week appointment about an hour and a half ago and got sent straight to the hospital. I am being tested due to high blood pressure and swelling. Doctor is concerned about preeclampsia so here I am being monitored and we will go from there!

yes. once was for monitoring ( my first daughters heart rate was sky high as was mine). then when they induced  I was told to go in the next day

Yes, I thought I was leaking urine and it turned out to be a slow leak of amniotic fluid. I was admitted to the hospital an hour later and had to be induced.

Yes with my last baby. Her heartbeat dropped. Had an emergeny c-section that same day

Me with my first at 36 weeks exactly my bp was high i got to triage and they monitored me dor 30 mins and decided to induce me.

My friend was sent from the ob straight to the hospital at 39 weeks for high blood pressure, they induced her and her LO came about 12 hours later.
