I need a hug

I've liked this guy forawhile, and a few months ago he flirted with me and asked me out, but I found out he had a girlfriend, so I put all the plans to a stop. He did seem genuinely sorry, and he and his girlfriend broke up. I still had feelings though, so I said we could still be friends. We kept talking for awhile, but he suddenly stopped and didn't talk to me. yesterday I posted on my snapchat story that I really needed a hug, and he messaged me for the first time in like a month saying he needed one too. I've been really desperate for affection lately, and I'm tempted to meet him just to get that hug... is this a bad idea? I just want a hug from a guy so bad, and other guys aren't interested.

also he looks like Milo and that is REALLY my type of that's important.
