We wanted a nursery for our little boy that had pieces of our fathers in it. Both my husband and I lost our fathers at the age of 10 and 11 years old. The baseball glove was his father’s high school glove. The only thing we have to still add is my dad’s golf club as the blanket holder. The LSU quilt and pillow was made by my husband’s grandmother who died three years ago. All she ever wanted was a great grandchild to rock to sleep.

Our son is named after our fathers. Monroe was my dad’s middle name and Alan was his dad’s middle name as well as my husband’s middle name. 💙💙💙
