what is the difference between a break and a break up?

just curious to see how different people would define a break in comparison to a break up. also is a relationship repairable after a break?

A break is a breakup. Only difference is that I feel people use a break as an excuse to hold shit against their partner when they wanna do single people stuff, and proceed to get upset about it all even though they have no real claim over that person during their "break". A break is just a way to keep each other around without having the guts to just end it once and for all, for whatever reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

to me a break up is cut the strings, but a break is keeping the string with that person but giving each other space to reflect sometimes its repairable sometimes its not all depends on why the pause in the relationship and how strong the 2 involved are. hope that helps but its just my thoughts. :)

A break is when you take a drive to let steam go and have some alone time, and then return 30 minutes not having talked to anyone else or see anyone else. And a break up is ending your relationship... 
I know what you mean by break but I think it's stupid. If you need alone time, find a hobby, go for drive, go get a soda and listen to music by yourself.  There's nothing wrong with needing alone time. What's wrong is when you say you need a break but you're wanting to hookup with other people.
