My daughter wouldn't nurse so I exclusively pumped for a year with her. I was really bummed for a long time about it. When my son was born early at 28 weeks 6 days on August 3rd, I was sure I would go through the same thing. Well he's now 10 weeks old and is nursing pretty well. He's coming home this week, and will still have his feeding tube. But I'm so grateful I'm able to successfully nurse my baby boy. It may not seem like a big deal, but I'll treasure these pictures forever. (He was due October 20th). Any of you October mommas NICU moms as well?
