Halloween costume help.

I love dressing up for Halloween. We got our daughter the cutest Tinkerbell costume. I want to be Wendy and my husband wants to be Captain Hook. But all the costumes I'm finding are so pricy! The cheapest Captain Hook costume I found was $50 and that's not including the wig or the hook or the shoes or the sword. It'd be about $100 with everything. That's a lot of money to spend when he'll only wear it a few times.

Does anyone know where I can shop affordable? Or how I can put it together myself?
