When did you first leave your LO over night?

So this is my first baby, and he’s 2 months old. My boyfriend is mad at me because I didn’t go to a wedding with him. I would of had to leave my baby for more than 24 hours, but I’m in the wrong here because I’m just not ready?

My son is 2 and I still haven't. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Part of the reason is I have no family where I live, but regardless, you're not wrong. You can't change how you feel, and personally, I think it's a huge step. Sure, it's healthy to get some time to yourself, but you also know yourself better than anyone, so if you're not comfortable yet, you're not going to relax and have fun. Don't let anyone make you feel like you're wrong for the decisions you make as a mom, in the best interest of your child.

My story might be a little different, but I breastfeed my daughter and when she was younger, she would refuse a bottle. She's 15 months and still has not spent the night away from us. I'd be willing to let her now, but we've had no reason come up.

I would not leave my lo over night.  But my husband would understand that I would not.  Sure my lo can do sleepovers when he is older.  Maybe 5?    How old is your lo?

Haha never. He's almost 3.5. Not that I wouldn't we just don't have the option. We've always lived away from our family so no one to leave him with.
Hubby has plenty of times for work trips, think maybe around 8 months old the first time.

I'm obviously in the minority here-but my child was barely 2 weeks old and spent the night at her grandparents house. (My parents) Now they also live 5 miles away from me-and I was having a very difficult time after labor. I also knew she would be safe and she regularly spends the night there at least once a week. She's four months now.
