Almost two weeks ago I had a D&C;, well the doctor asked if I wanted to have a genetics test done on the baby and I agreed to it. Well today I received a phone call from the doctor that eased my mind. There was nothing I could have done to prevent the death of my baby. Baby had an extra chromosome 16 which isn’t passed down genetically. I also found out that my baby was GIRL!! It’s been hard these last couple of weeks but hearing this from the doctor also gave me a little hope for the next time we decide to try.
