Best bed sheets ?

I am in dire need of what bed sheets to buy. I know the higher the thread count the better. I always buy the affordable Jersey sheets (feels like a cotton T-shirt) or the flannel sheets. I am looking for something more soft and comfortable.

Higher thread count doesn't always mean better. Some companies put two 500 thread count fabrics together and call them 1,000 thread count sheets. 
Personally though, I adore Damask sheets. Bamboo sheets are great too, but damask is much more affordable.

True Egyptian Cotton is very expensive but very worth it in terms of feel and softness. It needs to be 100% cotton, be wary and look for the real deal, blends are often marketed as “as soft as” or whatever

I am really fussy about my sheets and I. am willing to spend good money for good sheets. I spend about $80.00 on a set of sheets. the must be a MINIMUM of 450 thread count. and it should actually say thread count. I have seen sheets with numbers on them but then they felt like burlap. really spend the money on good sheets and you won't regret it.

And sateen weave are softer but could pull and pill easier. Sheets come soft or crisp. It is a personal preference. I’d get cotton so you don’t sweat as much.
