I just turned 39 a few months ago and I am pregnant with my 4th child after an 18 year gap. My OB has recommended I take a baby aspirin 81 mg (lowest dose) every day once I started my second trimester. Anyone else heard of this? I’ve never had Pre-eclampsia with my other three nor gestational diabetes and they were all healthy babies with exception of my last child, she had a mild congenital heart defect. Im 14.3 weeks today and all my tests so far have come back normal. My OB is very thorough and has suggested we check for everything and anything possible. I guess that is a good thing?
