Interracial marriage problems

A little back story, my husband is black and I am white. Both of our families are very supportive of our marriage and we have never really faced someone who has been against it. We have a neighbor that I have been nothing but kind to, last month I had a run in with her while she was drunk. I was sitting outside with our puppy minding my own business when out of no where she came around the corner screaming obscenities at me. Which scared my puppy, she then went into her apartment. My mom had called shortly after we were having our daily evening conversation when a man left the lady upstairs apartment and looked at me and said “Have a good evening ma’am”. I said thank you. And all of the sudden she flew out of her apartment and started to call me racial slurs I went inside crying (I had already had a very tough day had some bad news from the doctors) . My husband got home from work and as he was walking up to the door the woman yelled to my husband “you better go get your cracker wife before I do”. My husband came in and went to comfort me. He told me to stay away from her. Fast forward a last week I was coming back to our apartment from the mail box and I ran into her. I kept my head down and over heard her speaking to another woman who she told “watch out for her she is one of those white women who think it’s okay to steal our men”.

I’ve tried to ignore it but it’s been bothering me does anyone have any advice how to handle this?
