Discharge or leaking water?

People who have done this before:  How can you tell the difference between heavy third trimester discharge and your water leaking?  I’m 33 weeks right now and I’m mildly concerned.  I went swimming earlier tonight and felt a little gush, but it could have just been water trapped between my legs.  Since I got home, my undies are just damper than usual.

Thats how I am too. At your next doctor visit tell them and they will swab you and test if its amniotic fluid or discharge

I've been told if you soak a pad in an hour or less, it's likely fluid. anything less than that it's probably fine. but if you're consistently wet, it would eventually become evident it's not discharge unless it is JUST discharge.

Yes so if you lay on your side for half an hour this is how my midwife would examine me. It would pool on the inside and keep a clean maternity pad on so you can see the colour if it comes out when you stand up then that could be it indeed
