Need career advice! Im a RN of almost 10 years and have mostly worked in private practice outpatient surgery setting for facial reconstructions following cancer removals. I worked in hospital first 2 years after nursing school. I've been looking to change paths and have always been interested in the skill sets and knowledge of infusion nurses. I know there are special certifications for this specialty. Wondering how you started in this type of nursing and how did you obtain your certs? And what type of schedule do you have? Is your compensation worth all the extra training? Thanks!
