Did you do PGS testing on your embryos?

Did it result with many abnormal ones?

I did two retrieval’s and got 1 normal embryo with each retrieval. PGS doesn’t test for genetic abnormalities, only chromosomal abnormalities. I decided to test because I’m over 40, had 3 unsuccessful rounds of IVF, and I had one miscarriage at 7 weeks due to slow growth. I later found out embryo was missing chromosomes. This time I did single embryo transfer and am currently 5w6d pregnant!!!!  It was worth the $$$ if you have prior history of miscarriage.

Currently on our first round of IVF awaiting transfer date (probably in December as I’m having polyps removed in November). I’m 35 with low AMH, we have been TTC for a year and a half. We had 10 retrieved, 9 were fertilized and 5 made it to day 5. We did PGS and found out yesterday that all 5 are normal! Super excited for our transfer 😊

We had a total of 9 tested, 5 came back abnormal. I am 33, my husband is 37.  We transferred 2 normal embryos and are currently 11w with twins.

We did. Our 1st cycle we didn’t test, but got 3 blastocysts. 
This cycle we got 11 blastocysts and 3 were complex abnormal.  So we got 8 normal(!)

 I added a 30mg zinc supplement/ day during cycle and drank margaritas. I know I should’ve have drank, but I figured it will either work or not. And omg did it work! So maybe tequila shots with ivf shots are the next treatment trend! 🍹 💉

We did (and I'm really glad). We had 4 tested and only one was normal. I'm 29 and my husband is 30 so we were surprised and dismayed...but it was better to know ahead of time than to transfer abnormal embryos.

We had a total of 5 tested and 1 came back abnormal. It was a big expense but we decided that since we were already paying so much (insurance didn't cover any of our treatment) we wanted to give ourselves the best odds possible. It also alleviates the need to do genetic testing after getting pregnant

We did. We had 8 sent off for testing. 7 came back normal, 1 abnormal.

After two miscarriages from non-PGS tested embryos we went back for another round and did PGS testing. Sent in 10 for testing and 6 were abnormal. Both my husband and I are 27 years old. I am now 31 weeks with the only normal female embryo.
