Is it happening??!?

Ladies, SOMETHING is happening, and I'd love some advice! I'm at 37w5d. Husband and I had sex at Noon today, and I had a small amount of red bleeding afterwards (I've had no bleeding at all before today). Started feeling crampy immediately. At about 2:00, I realized the cramps were coming and going. Started timing them - on average, they're coming about 6 minutes apart, lasting 30 seconds, and they feel like period cramps. This has been going on for about an hour and a half. Is this it?? Or just normal for this stage of pregnancy??

Sounds like labor! My OB told me that if I have 6 contractions that I could go in.

That's how it started with my 5 year old. Had sex then bam, in labor. Hope its your day to meet your little one!!

Update: I talked to my doctor. He said I absolutely could come in to get checked, but also gave me his blessing to stay home and just come in if they stronger/closer together. So that's what I'm going to do. They've actually spaced out to every 10-15 minutes, instead of every 5-10 minutes, which is kind of a bummer. But I'm just going to listen to my body's cues, and be on standby!
