Promise ring insta post

So my bf got me such a pretty promise ring/4 year anniversary gift. I wasn't gonna post it but got such a pretty picture of me holding it with the sunset that I really wanted to. I captioned it " I love my early anniversary promise ring from (bf name). I even did #promisering just for extra clarification. Well one person said congrats hope I'm invited to the wedding so I had my sister comment and say it's just a promise ring right and my bf went back and replied yes. It looks nothing like an engagement ring as well. Well now multiple people have commented and texted me and him asking if it's an engagement ring. Like am I crazy??? It clearly say promise ring multiple times are people not reading the caption. It's just so stupid since if I was engaged I would have used the word engaged ya know. My friend did a post and her ring looked much more like an engagement ring and it was on her finger and she had a few people ask and all. But y'all can look mine up it's the pandora princess ring. Very simple and promise ring appropriate. So if I'm venting it's just annoying since people have asked my parents if we are engaged and all when clearly we are not!
