My grandparent have a piano at their home, so naturally we let my 17 month old son play with it because he loves the sound it makes. He’s only played on it a few times in his whole life, but I’ve been watching how he plays....

He will sit on the bench, and have both hands on the keys playing. He will use all his fingers - sometimes separately (mostly thumbs and index for now) - and he kicks his feet when playing. He can copy keys that myself or others will play, and will use literally every key on the piano, stretching out his arms to do so.

I find this incredible, but do all babies do this? I’m just wondering because I want to look into Piano lessons when he gets older (if he wants to of course) but my husband doesn’t think it may be that special 🙈 I don’t know, tell me what you guys think!
