I am getting a little stressed about guests and visitors after the baby is born. Once I am settled after the birth and have had some time with baby and husband I am fine with my immediate family coming in and seeing the baby briefly. Once I am home though, I would really like a few days to get settled in to bond with my baby and for my husband and myself to get to know our baby and have some privacy. What is a good way to tell guests that I don't want them coming over right away? Both sides of our family are extremely excited and I know want to be over as much as possible. How do I set limits and timeframes without being rude or seeming unappreciative of their love and wanting to see our baby? It's not that I don't want them to see her, I just want some time just my husband and I with our child and to get settled in after birth.
