Crib training....help

My LO is 8 months and we finally have ventured to the crib because she's uncomfortable in anything else. When she slept in our room I woke up to her moving or even breathing funny. But now I'll have to listen to the monitor and when I knocked out on the couch last time, I woke up to my SO coming in the door from work telling me she was screaming. 😭😭 how did I sleep through that? And now I'm freaking that I won't wake up to her and I'm so nervous about it. Have any of you went through this? ☹️
