C section the Vbac moms?

Question

Baby #2 due May 2018 but my husband will still be deployed in Korea until June 2018 and with my first I literally needed him for everything I thought I was gonna die after my C section (Allergic to all pain killers, and the 1 I can have makes me sleep for like 10 hours). 
My mom can help me, but sometimes you just really want your husband there so I wanna try vaginal but I’m DEATHLY AFRAID I’ll be the one that like tears from her cootie to her booty and just wanna die 😂

I vbac my last baby I had one csection prior. There's only one dr in my city that allows his patients to vbac. They defiantly watch you a little more closely during labor and if anything should go unplanned they will whisk you away to csection. But it was a very rewarding feeling. I hope you get your vbac!!

No joke years ago I read in a what to expect book that you can stretch and losen your lady bits to help prevent tearing.   I had my first c-sec and attempted vbac with my 2nd and ended up being put to sleep during the c-section.  As much as I loved my doctor I didn't go back to him. He's the only doc in the valley that does VBAC and I didn't want to take myself down that path of thinking. Not everyone's story is like mine and in my opinion (and Rikki Lakes 😂)  interventions increase chances of cesareans, and that's exactly what  happened to me.  I had my membranes stripped at 38 weeks, immediately went into "labor", they administered pitocin, gave me an epi all things I knew I didn't want but didn't say no to.  So I'm basically saying make sure to advocate for yourself,  educate yourself and only do what's comfortable for you.  I sure  as hell would love to not have to heal from another c-section !! xoxo
