Any other baby’s not saying mama and Dad and meaning it?

My baby makes mama and dada sounds but there is no connection to us. He calls me dada, my husband, the dog, etc. Also if you ask him to point to mama he’ll just point to something random. I try not to compare but I get worried that his language should be further along. He makes plenty of sounds, points, and claps. He will open the door on command, or close the door. He’ll give you his foot if you ask for his foot. He’ll try to put a shoe on his foot if you ask him to. I know I’m overreacting but I’m curious.
