So I went for my 38 week appointment today I’m 38 + 3 based on dating scan but 39 based on lmp.. anywhoo I was curious about the hospitals policy on scheduled induction.. not early induction but scheduled for your due date in advance rather than waiting to go overdue to then schedule one (if that makes sense) anyways the midwife practically chewed my head off for even asking.. I’ve been experiencing false labor on and off for I don’t know how many weeks now, I have a rash that itches so much I scratch till I bleed and the cream doesn’t help and it won’t go away until baby is born.. I’ve had severe diarrhoea for the last 3 days and have barely been able to eat so yeah I’m miserable and just want my baby girl here.. but I can’t comprehend a medical professional being so rude and just assume that when someone asks about inductions they immediately think you mean you want it done that day 🙄

(I’m sure I’m probably just overreacting but it really made me mad)

Oh and saying sleep deprivation is just baby preparing you for when they are here..uh no it’s because I’ve had friggin diarrhoea and have to get up a million times to go as well as needing to pee like every 5 minutes.. but yeah sure that’s a indication of my babies sleep and feeding pattern 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️
