im 18 guys so im not asking this for me im asking for a younger friend of mine who is 17 and is dating a 21 year old she loves him and he loves her but ive done some research depending on ur state its TOTALLY legal to date as long as she wants too but is this true ??

You should tell her to look up consent laws for your state. Some states its 16, some 18, and some its 16 but with an age gap rule. Like 16 but no more than 5 year gap in age. In my state its 16 with no age gap.

it depends on the state what the age of consent is. some would say she's too young to know what she wants, date someone her age blah blah blah. I believe it depends on the person. she may be mature enough to handle the relationship. As long as it's legal no problem.
