First ultrasound 11 weeks?

I saw a nurse for my first appointment and it was simply medical history and advice for pregnancy since this is my first child. Then they set me up for my next which isn't until November 20. Is this normal?  Why do I have to wait so long?

That is very normal. Mine is the same unless you had a dating scan organised for prior. I'm getting a dating scan just cause. The doctor asked if I wanted one & I said yes because I want to see if it's all okay inside me. Maybe ask your GP if you can get a referral?
