When should we expect to welcome our fraternal twins?!

We are feeling pretty anxious with all the unsolicited opinions and experiences from strangers. Please ladies, and men, let us know when your babes came earthside! Needing some assurance. We are in our 31st week and feeling the reality of bringing home our tiny humans settling! ❤️❤️Aloha

I made it until 38 weeks! My blood pressure was really high so we did a c section that day and took the babies out! Both girls almost 7 lbs.

My water broke with twin A at 33 and a half weeks! My doctor let me try to deliver vaginally since he was head down. Both babies were delivered vaginally I had a successful delivery. The only complication was I couldn’t stop bleeding and ended up needing a blood transfusion. I wasn’t able to see my babies for a whole day because I was so weak! Both babies were in the NICU for only one week and didn’t need any oxygen which was amazing! They are now 4 month and are my little warriors!

I had a C Section at exactly 37 weeks (full term for twins). Because I had gestational diabetes (no insulin, thank god!), doc decided to schedule delivery between 37 and 38 weeks, not a day later. FYI: 37 weeks gestation is still considered "pre-term" or "preemie". They both wore preemie diapers for 3 weeks before moving up to the newborn size...they only weighed 5 and 6 lbs.

I have a csection scheduled for 36 weeks exactly. But I'm having Mo/Di identical twins. My doc is willing to deliver between 32-36 weeks depending on how my health goes. I'm high risk.  Praying for 36 weeks tho 💕

I was induced with my didi twins at 36w because of IUGR. Without the complication my doctor would have induced me at 38w. She said after 38w there’s an increased risk of stillbirth for twins and there isn’t much to gain developmentally by keeping them in there. She said average gestation for twins is 36w.

With both sets of my twins I was scheduled for 37wks and 1day.... I never made it that far. My first set almost made it to their scheduled day but my water broke just 2days before. With my second set of twins I just delivered last Monday (10/30/2017) my due date was Christmas but my C-section was scheduled for December 5th... didn't even make it close. I deliver at 32wks exactly. my water broke both times. Good luck

I had a c-section at 36 weeks. We thought I was going to go to 38 weeks but my blood pressure wouldn’t go down. My doctor would’ve let me have a vaginal birth since the first baby was heads down in my cervix but I knew with my luck we wouldn’t be able to get the 2nd baby in the position we need him to be (he was transverse). It’s a good thing we did that because his foot was actually stuck in my ribs so I would’ve ended up with a c-section anyway.
