Any TTC with irregular cycle success stories out there?

How long did it take you to get pregnant after coming off of the birth-control pill? I was on birth control for several years thanks to very irregular periods (50 day cycle at the moment).

I've been off birth-control for a few months now and this is our second month TTC, but I'm having a hard time staying excited and encouraged about the process. It's all still very early but I'm so impatient.
