due date

My due date is approaching fast. My husband and myself have a dog and cat. They are my babies. We never thought we would have kids. We currently live with his mom and have been looking for a place but unfortunately had to stop because I have to take off work early. When our little man comes I will be moving in with my mom because my husband mom's house isn't a good place for a baby nor big enough. How do I make my fur babies feel like I didn't abandon them until we are able to get our own place? Yes, my son is my world but so are they.
