First tattoo

I just turned 34 and I’m planning to get my first tattoo.

I have a couple different designs in mind. And I think I know where I’m going to go. But I want to go check the place out to book my appointment. I want to get a vibe of the place. I know others who have gone there and they say great things about it.

Any tips/advice on what to ask?
