Progesterone before becoming pregnant?

Has anyone every heard of starting progesterone before getting pregnant to create a warm cushy home for the embryo to attach?

Yes! My dr started me on progesterone (vaginally) right after ovulation, inactually got pregnant first try which was really shocking since it's taken me years in the past. I'm currently 14 weeks and take progesterone vaginally and shots twice a week.

I am using progesterone capsules as part as an IUI treatment. I started them the night of the treatment.
I did the same with my past IUI 8 years ago. I got pregnant on the first try and I remember using progesterone suppositories for a few months ( morning and night).
