Struggling with meal time
I'm really having trouble with keeping up with my babies (almost 12 months old) eating "real" food now instead of purées. Breakfast is always good, we do waffles, pancakes, oatmeal or something similar with some sort of fruit and a cup of water. Lunch has been hard because a lot of the time I just don't know what to do for them. My go-to if I'm not sure for lunch has been turkey and cheese sandwich with some water and some apple sauce or grapes. Then dinner rolls around and I have premade frozen meatballs (a recipe found on a mom's blog) and we still do a veggie purée then too. I just feel like I never have a chance to cook a dinner that's appropriate for my kids. They're still not pro chewers, they eat fine but every now and then they have a random gagging moment, which scares us obviously.
I guess I'm just looking for some good recipes that would be more convenient to cook while watching my little crazy kiddos, or some ideas on how to keep them busy while I cook? Oh and any ideas for other lunches would be awesome! I tried Pinterest but honestly didn't turn up a lot of good ideas.
Posting here because I feel like other moms of multiples will have good solutions for these problems! Thanks!
