So it was about 10pm and I was sitting in my living room just looking at my phone. No tv or anything on and my husband was still at work. I heard three very loud bangs on my front door. So loud that it felt like it shook my house and my poor puppies who I let out in the back yard for a bit were so afraid. I ran to the door and made sure it was locked and then looked out the peep hole. No one was there, not even a car. I ran upstairs and got in our gun safe and got my gun out and called my husband to come home. I stood in our room with the door locked until my husband got home. He checked the house and the yard and didn’t find anything.

I’m so uneasy about being home alone now. My husband works 2:30pm-11pm every weekday night so no one is home but me. Has anyone else had this happen? I’m not even sure what I would have done if someone came in but I’m still afraid they will come back another night when my husband is gone again.

Thank you ladies for being so supportive. It literally scared me so bad! My husband and I have an ADT alarm system but no camera. We will be installing a Ring Doorbell on Saturday. I just need to get through the next two days when I get off work and alone at home until the hubby comes home. So anxious about it all because people are so crazy! My husband should be home soon and I haven’t heard or noticed anything tonight so that’s good. I’ll update again if anything else happens.
