Dyspraxia diagnosis help

Saffron-Elise

I've just found out I'm dyspraxic, a form of autism at the very low end I'm 22 years old . I have realised it now explains a lot of behaviour.... such as when i go round my partners parents and things don't go as planned i have a sort of meltdown/ childlike pady and i refuse to play games that are new to me as i get confused easily. It turns out that these meltdowns are why im no longer invited to family gatherings because my partners mum doesn't want me showing her up. My partner has said i need to appologise for my behaviour, i agreed but also said that i can't help how i react in certain situations and they need to understand that. Do i need to appologise or just explain? What do i do if i still don't get invited to family stuff?
