Sex after birth?

So how long did you moms wait to have sex after giving birth? I had a vaginal delivery almost 3 weeks ago and I had two minor tears and got two stitches..I was just wondering if it was gonna hurt me to have sex right now?

6 weeks so my doctor could clear me so i didnt risk dying just for some dick

i waited the 6 weeks like the dr says to and even then we did not have sex for like 2 months after having baby we were just too tired to do anything lol

Wait 6 weeks, even if u feel healed there is a giant hole where ur placenta was in your uterus leaving you at huge risk for infection.

I have always waited till six weeks, but I was too stretched out and exhausted to consider otherwise. We also wanted to wait till breastfeeding was well established to space our babies enough. Then again, I have always been pregnant before weaning!
