PID !

So I just found out I have pid (pelvic inflammatory disease) and my period is 9 days late could that be a reason ??? Or Can I still be pregnant and pid is giving me a negative test ??? I been to the hospital they gave ma a shot in my hip and 4 pink pills to take that was it.
