Anxiety meds?

Question

Any other Momma's on or we're on anxiety meds prior to being pregnant? I've been on lexapro for a while but after becoming pregnant they wanted me to D.C. The meds.... looking to see if anyone else is on any different meds or the same one?

I was on a couple mood stabilizers before we started ttc. Depakote and lamictal (probably spelt wrong) I'm type 2 bipolar so anxiety is one of my issues. My drs took me off all meds about 2 weeks before we started ttc. They aren't okay with me being on any of those kinds of meds while pregnant with me being borderline high risk, so I just see my mental health dr every other week to make sure I don't hit any low low dips. But so far the pregnancy hormones have been on my side and I've been okay. Anxiety is the one thing I still fight day to day. Sometimes it takes me an extra hour to leave the house when I have to go to the store because my anxiety flares up and I don't want to leave the house.

I'm on Sertraline for anxiety. My doctors told me to stay on it as it is not as high risk as other anxiety meds and the benefits outweigh the risks for me. I feel so much better on it and can imagine I would be an anxious mess without it.

I was on lamictal when I found out I was pregnant. I went off of it immediately and doctor said if needed lituda is category b.

No but I sure feel like I need them now! I’ve been an anxious mess- just anxious about tons of things worrying about if it’s okay for the baby and I know it’s silly but I can’t help it.... I used to take Pristiq almost 3 years ago bc I clearly have GAD. I have a feeling I will need to take something after the baby arrives.

I’m on Fluoxetine (Prozac) for migraines. My Gyno actually prescribed them a couple years before being pregnant and she is keeping me on them. I take 20mg a day.

I stopped taking all of mine the first time I found out I was pregnant at the beginning of this yr(I've lost 2this year) I am now 15w my ob had me go to a physiatrist specifically for pregnant women. she wants me to take prozac and possibly get back on my Noraton and she gave me an as needed one thats very low risk that mainly has an antihistamine to take off the edge if I'm gonna have a panic attack and to help me sleep. I've read up and they're not all bad to take pregnant. so just talk to your ob and physiatrist

I've dealt with anxiety and depression since I was 12 and have taken meds in the past but I stopped taking them before I started having kids, about three years ago for a few reasons. I kinda wanted to go back on them to counter mild post partum depression with my last baby but was scared to do so because I was breast feeding. Luckily I have a therapist I've seen for years so I was able to manage it without medication. 
Here's what I find interesting... I've found that during pregnancy, I enjoy one of the most peaceful and balanced states of mind that I've ever had. I just saw my therapist last week and she pointed out that it could be the hormones. I wonder if this is the case for anyone else? It's not perfect but when I'm pregnant it's easier for me to shake off trigger thoughts that in the past could launch me into a days long bout of depression. 
One more thing... my sister was on anti depressants throughout her whole pregnancy and even while she was beast feeding.  My niece is awesome and doesn't seem to be effected so there's that. Her meds were carefully monitored too, if you choose to get into this you should probably find a doc that is willing to work with you.

i came off lamictal, tegretol and klonopin before TTC. 
i wish i was on them, but i wanted to do this for my baby

I was in Sertraline for depression and anxiety, but haven't taken them since just before I found out I was pregnant, which is over two months now. I've been told I can take them if I need them, but a friend of mine who also takes the same type of meds informed me that I'd have to stay in longer with the baby if I take them for an extended period.

I'm on Effexor. I'm 14 weeks. My doctor encouraged me to continue on my meds.
