NuvaRing side effects?

Question

I just had my IUD removed because, as much as it's been said otherwise, I believe it gave me acne and helped me gain a butt ton of weight (40lbs. I work out daily and eat a balanced diet).

My doc gave me the nuvaring to try but I'm concerned about that hormones. She said it should help my acne, but I'm not convinced if hormones from IUD gave it to me in the first place.

The iud gave me horrible acne!! It also gave me crazy mood swings I had been on the nuva ring before but decided to switch because I wanted something long lasting but after 6 months I switched back the nuva ring gave me no issues and no pregnancy for the whole 7-8 years I was on it.

so far I have had no side effects other than cramping, but I think that may be due to pre existing cysts.  granted it's been only about a month for me.  thus far I am loving this option of BC
