Yes, I got the flu shot and the TDAP. Why? Anything to keep my little one safe.

I have never gotten the flu shot in my life and I sure as hell was not about to get it while my little man is still in there. I've also never once had the flu. I did get the TDAP though.

I got mine last week. I work in a cancer treatment facility, so I am around immunosuppressed people all the time. If preventing myself from getting sick can help them out I'm all for it! Same goes for my unborn baby. Protecting me protects him.

I already got it. I used to never get it, but then my dad got cancer, and getting the flu would have killed him (literally). So I understood why it’s so important. He couldn’t get the vaccine. So I get it every year. This year is supposed to be a bad flu year, so anything I can do to keep baby girl safe is worth it.

I'm very high risk and I wasn't getting it and my dr does not want me to get it until I have her because she doesn't want to add more complications to the problem. the biggest thing that the shots can cause is preterm labor. and I'm very high risk for that already with iugr baby. so me and my doctor have decided you're not getting it during the pregnancy
