Who here believes in the evil eye? Meaning if someone is jealous of your success or happiness or even gets disappointed when you announce something good, it usually ends up messing up the good things in your life. Has anyone heard of this? Who believes in it? Most of my family believes in it, and refrain a lot from posting pictures of their kids on social media and don't share gender of their baby and stuff while they are pregnant, thinking evil eye from someone might harm their babies.

I had a cousin strongly tell me last week, not to share results of my gender ultrasound except for my immediate family, because he saw how one of his friends miscarried at 20 weeks after announcing the gender of their baby on Facebook.
